Newark council meeting to discuss removing pit bulls from vicious dog list - National Pet Rescue | Examiner.com
The legal presumption that pit bulls are "dangerous" or "vicious" have been spurred on by a host of media hype. Most pit bull type dog owners will attest to their dogs being gentle, friendly, and non-aggressive, however breed-specific legislation ranges from complete bans on possession to restrictions on ownerships.
This blog is for educational purposes. I hope that we can change the lives of many that are abused and killed because of their breed. I have found by experience that this breed is the most misunderstood. Because of media and an uneducated society many people fear this breed. In reality you should not fear the dog but the “owner” that taught the dog how to behave. Please share this information across the internet until the ban of this breed is stopped and we accept this breed into our hearts.
